Services
Refurbishment support for commercial kitchens, bars and serveries where cost, downtime, reuse and programme control all matter.
Kitchen refurbishment
Refurbishment projects often involve working around an existing building, existing equipment, limited access and a kitchen team that needs to keep trading or return to service quickly.
YCE helps clients decide what to retain, what to replace and how to phase the work so the finished kitchen is better suited to the operation without unnecessary disruption.

Key considerations
We review the current kitchen, operational issues, equipment condition, available services and required trading dates. This helps identify whether the project is a light refresh, phased refurbishment or full replacement.
The brief sets out the new layout, retained equipment, replacement equipment, service changes, cold storage, ventilation, servery or bar requirements and any phasing needed to reduce downtime.
YCE coordinates removal, supply, installation and project communication. Where existing equipment is suitable, it can be cleaned, serviced and tested before being returned to the new scheme.
After handover, YCE can maintain the new and retained equipment, advise on future replacement cycles and support further phases when budget or trading windows allow.
Further detail
A refurbishment is the opportunity to solve the problems that affect the kitchen every day: poor workflow, tired equipment, restricted storage, unreliable refrigeration, awkward service counters or difficult cleaning access.
YCE combines project planning with asset and service knowledge so clients can invest where it matters while avoiding unnecessary replacement of equipment that still has useful life.
