These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of YCE Limited T/As YCE Catering Equipment’s website. YCE Catering Equipment is located at 4 Chessingham Park, York, YO19 5SE.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and use of this website. Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.
If orders are placed before 4.00pm, goods held in our warehouse are usually delivered within 48 hours on the UK mainland, although bulky or fragile items may take longer. Offshore and remote areas may require a supplementary delivery cost.
All products are subject to availability. Delivery dates are estimates and time for delivery shall not be made of the essence by notice. Large machinery, refrigeration and flat-packed prices include delivery to the door, ground floor only, UK mainland. Delivery does not include access into premises, stairs or lifts, unpacking, positioning or assembly unless specifically agreed.
The delivery date in YCE Ltd’s acknowledgement of order is an estimate only unless specifically agreed in writing. YCE Ltd may charge storage costs where delivery is delayed by the buyer, lack of instructions or delayed payment.
On delivery, risk in the goods passes to the buyer. The buyer is responsible for protecting the equipment from damage or destruction after delivery. The company’s quotation does not include electrical wiring, plumbing, building works, making good, handling equipment, scaffolding, site lighting, power, heating, water or insurance unless specifically stated.
Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis. YCE Ltd reserves the right to impose an administration charge on returns and a restocking fee where necessary. A returns authorisation number is required before returning goods.
Unrequired goods for full credit will only be accepted within 2 days of invoice and must be in perfect condition and original packaging. After 2 days a 10% restocking charge may apply; after 10 days a 25% restocking charge may apply. No goods are accepted for return after 30 days.
YCE Ltd shall not be liable for non-delivery unless written notice is given within 7 days of the date the goods would ordinarily have been received. Liability for non-delivery is limited to replacement within a reasonable time or a credit note at the pro-rata contract rate.
When you place an order through YCE, the store will either accept or reject your order. Orders may be rejected if items are out of stock or a store is unable to fulfil delivery. If an order is rejected, you will receive an email notification and any payment made will be voided.
Although title to goods remains with YCE Ltd until paid for, goods are at the buyer’s risk from the time of delivery and the buyer shall insure them against loss and damage. The buyer’s right to possession of the goods ceases if the goods have not been paid for in full by the expiry of any credit period or if insolvency events occur.
Where the law requires a minimum age for the purchase of specific goods, the buyer must confirm they are over the required age limit. Samples not returned to YCE Ltd must not be sold on by the buyer.
The price payable for goods is as set out on the website or current catalogue at the time of order. Prices exclude VAT and all costs or charges for loading, unloading, carriage and insurance unless stated. YCE Ltd reserves the right to change advertised prices and correct pricing or description errors.
Payment must be received for the full price of the goods and any applicable charges before an order can be accepted unless otherwise agreed in writing. Account customers must pay in full within 30 days of invoice, and credit facilities may be revoked at YCE Ltd’s discretion.
No payment is deemed received until YCE Ltd has received cleared funds. Goods remain the property of YCE Ltd until full payment has been received.
Goods supplied by YCE Ltd are guaranteed in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty or for 1 year if not stated. Warranty applies to UK Mainland only and does not apply to goods that have not been paid for in full.
Warranty does not apply to wear and tear, damage, misuse, alteration, disassembly, tampering, fire, water, smoke, expired warranty periods, sterile or disposable goods, or machines that have not been properly maintained, cleaned or de-scaled where applicable.
Any defect or suspected defect must be notified to YCE Ltd in writing within 14 days of delivery. YCE Ltd makes no warranty in respect of items it does not manufacture but will assist the buyer to obtain the benefit of applicable manufacturer warranties.
